The Mistake Continues

"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God."

A decade later, they keep cutting me down to size before the idols and the fans, but what a pity that they can't outsmart me and my art to prove themselves right. That's the price to pay for enjoying a life inside the system: to be dumb as hell. Those individuals become reprobate for faith the day they choose to seek from others the same attention that someone else has gotten from them; that's how the vicious circle of the idolatry industry works.

Jesus knew that mundane society can't make a difference between the just and the wicked, and that some can take advantage of its ignorance to get their ego pleased. Once they have it telling them that they and their works are good, no prophet will ever convince them of the contrary. The excitement of people is the only "truth" they really care about; even a, "Hell yeah!", feels like a proof that they're doing something that matters.

If only they have that multitude of fools with them, telling them the lies they desire to hear, they're ready for hell; at least the figment of their bad imagination that they use to define the word. Yet they say I'm the one going down and down, whereas I know what's "up" for them, and they hate the fact that I am not below like the rest, controlled, helping them be "high".

She still hasn't slipped away from me; there is no sense in hoping that that will ever happen. They can make you feel "good", you can make me feel "bad", but ultimately She has reminded me of the delusion you take and give.

"And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
